Drift Pricing Plans and Drift Chatbot Pricing After the Sunset
October 08, 2026
Drift never published a price list. Its entry Premium plan was widely reported at about $2,500 a month, billed annually as roughly $30,000 a year, with Advanced and Enterprise quoted higher, often $4,000 to $10,000 or more a month according to third-party breakdowns. Since March 2026 the bigger question is whether you can still buy it at all: Clari + Salesloft announced a gradual sunset of Drift and refer customers to 1mind, so new Drift contracts are not on offer and current customers are pricing a replacement.
Below are the last reported Drift prices, what each tier included, what a renewal looks like after the sunset, and what the realistic replacements cost for the same B2B website chat job. Drift figures are third-party reports because Drift sold only through quotes; replacement prices come from each vendor's own pricing page, checked in October 2026.
Drift pricing plans as last reported
| Plan | Reported price | Billing | What it added |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium | About $2,500 a month | Annual contract, about $30,000 a year | Website chat, playbooks, lead capture, meeting booking, basic routing and reporting |
| Advanced | Quoted, third parties report about $4,000 to $6,000 a month | Annual contract | Advanced routing, chatbot A/B testing, deeper Salesloft and CRM integration |
| Enterprise (Premier) | Quoted, third parties report $6,000 to $10,000 or more a month | Annual contract | Account-based routing, custom reporting, higher limits and dedicated support |
There was no free plan and no self-serve trial for these tiers; you saw the product on a sales call. Implementation and onboarding services were often billed on top, and third-party breakdowns put enterprise customers at $80,000 to $150,000 or more a year once services and higher tiers were added.
How much does Drift cost per month?
Drift cost about $2,500 a month on its entry Premium plan, as widely reported by buyers and review sites, paid as an annual contract of around $30,000. Advanced and Enterprise were quoted per account and reported between $4,000 and $10,000 or more a month. Drift is no longer sold to new customers, so these numbers matter mainly at renewal.
For comparison, a website AI chatbot with human handoff and published prices runs from about $24 to $250 a month for most small and mid-size teams. That gap is why the sunset pushed so many Drift customers to look at the whole category again rather than at the most similar enterprise tool.
Can you still buy Drift in 2026?
No, not as a new customer. On March 6, 2026, Clari + Salesloft announced a gradual sunset of the Drift conversational marketing product and named 1mind as the successor they refer Drift customers to. Existing tenants can still log in, active development has stopped, and no single public end-of-life date has been published.
In practice your Drift price is now whatever your contract says until its end date, plus any terms Clari + Salesloft offer at renewal. Read the term, the auto-renewal clause and the notice period before your next budget cycle. If you keep vendor contracts in one place, it helps to track renewal dates and notice periods in contract management software so a Drift auto-renewal does not slip past while you test a replacement.
What does a Drift replacement cost?
A Drift replacement costs anywhere from about $900 a year to several hundred thousand dollars, depending on whether you need enterprise account-based routing or a website chatbot that answers questions and hands leads to a person. The table prices one common setup: a B2B team of 5 people with about 1,500 website conversations a month.
| Option | How it is priced | Yearly cost for 5 people, 1,500 conversations a month |
|---|---|---|
| Drift Premium, if renewed | Quoted annual contract | About $30,000, as last reported |
| 1mind (named successor) | Quote only | Third-party reviews report roughly $100,000 to $400,000 |
| Qualified | Quote only | Reported around $68,000 for 25 users; small teams rarely qualify for less |
| Intercom Advanced with Fin | $85 per seat a month yearly, plus $0.99 per Fin outcome | 5 x $85 + 600 outcomes x $0.99 = $1,019 a month, about $12,230 |
| Zoho SalesIQ Enterprise | $20 per operator a month yearly, AI vendor usage extra on your own key | 5 x $20 = $100 a month, $1,200 plus any AI usage |
| InChat Plus | $74 a month yearly, or $149 monthly | $888 yearly billing, $1,788 monthly; 2,000 AI conversations and 10 team members |
The Intercom line assumes Fin fully resolves 40 percent of the 1,500 conversations; at a higher resolution rate the Fin line grows. Our Intercom Fin pricing breakdown works through other volumes, and the Zoho SalesIQ pricing guide covers its add-ons. Enterprise figures for 1mind and Qualified are ranges reported by independent reviewers, not list prices.
What made a Drift contract expensive
The license was only part of the bill. Buyers who looked back at their Drift spend usually point to the same four items.
- Annual commitment up front. Premium was sold on a yearly contract, so a team that wanted to test website chat for a quarter still paid for twelve months.
- Services and setup. Playbook design, routing rules and CRM mapping were often a paid onboarding project, reported between $5,000 and $15,000 for larger accounts.
- Tier gating. Routing, A/B testing and custom reporting sat on the higher quoted tiers, which pushed growing teams up a tier at renewal.
- Bundle pressure after the Salesloft deal. Several reviewers describe renewals tied to Salesloft cadence and forecasting products, with price increases at renewal.
There was also a non-financial cost. In August 2025 attackers used stolen OAuth tokens from the Drift integration to pull data from many Salesforce environments; Salesloft took Drift offline and Salesforce disabled the connection. Any team still on Drift should check which OAuth grants remain active in its CRM, Slack and Google Workspace.
Is a cheaper Drift alternative good enough for B2B?
For most B2B teams under 50 people, yes. When Drift conversations are mostly visitors asking about pricing, integrations, security and setup, an AI chatbot trained on your own website answers them better than a scripted playbook did, and it hands the serious buyer to a rep with the details already collected. That covers the job most Drift customers bought it for.
It is not enough when your sales motion depends on recognizing a target account from its IP address and routing it in real time to the named account executive in Salesforce. That is enterprise account-based marketing, and 1mind or Qualified are built for it at enterprise prices. Be honest about which case you are before you price anything.
InChat is built for the first case. It reads your public pages, docs and PDFs, answers visitors with a link to the source, asks the qualifying questions you set and routes buyers to the right person in a shared inbox. Plans are priced per team, not per seat: Starter is $24 a month billed yearly for 500 AI conversations and 3 team members, Plus is $74 for 2,000 conversations, 10 members, webhooks and the API, and Pro is $249 for unlimited. Monthly billing is $49, $149 and $499, with no annual contract required. The full list is on InChat pricing, and the switch itself is covered step by step on our Drift alternative page.
What to do before your Drift renewal
- Find your dates. Write down the contract end date, the auto-renewal clause and the notice period, and set a reminder 60 days before the notice deadline.
- Export your data. Pull conversation history, contacts and meeting records out of Drift while you still have full access.
- List what Drift actually did. Go through your busiest playbooks and note what share of chats were questions, lead capture or account routing. That list decides which replacement tier you need.
- Test the replacement on real questions. Take the 20 questions visitors asked most and run them through the new chatbot before you remove the Drift snippet.
- Revoke old access. After the switch, remove Drift OAuth connections from Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack and Google Workspace, and redirect any Drift meeting links.
Drift pricing, common questions

Does Drift have a free plan?
Not anymore. Drift once offered a free chat plan, but it was dropped years before the sunset, and the paid tiers were sold only through sales calls with annual contracts. Since March 2026 Drift is not sold to new customers at all.
Is Drift being discontinued?
Yes, gradually. Clari + Salesloft announced the Drift sunset on March 6, 2026 and refer customers to 1mind. There is no single public shutdown date, so each customer's timeline follows its contract and any migration notice it receives.
What is the cheapest Drift alternative for a small B2B team?
