The short answer

Drift is being wound down: on March 6, 2026, Clari + Salesloft announced a gradual sunset of Drift and named 1mind as the successor for existing customers, and new Drift licenses are no longer a practical purchase. If you used Drift to answer website visitors, capture leads and route hot conversations to sales, InChat is a Drift replacement that does that at a published price: $49 a month for 500 AI conversations and 3 team members, $149 for 2,000 and 10 people, $499 for unlimited. Enterprise teams that need account-based routing inside Salesforce should look at 1mind or Qualified instead.

Compare

Drift replacement options compared, what you pay and what you get

Drift itself is not on the list of things you can buy anymore, so the real choice is between its named successor, other enterprise AI SDR tools and website AI chatbots with published prices. Enterprise figures below are third-party reports, because none of those vendors publish a price list.

Option How it is priced What you get Best for
Drift (Clari + Salesloft) Being sunset since March 2026; before that, Premium was widely reported at about $2,500 a month on an annual contract Existing customers keep service until the dates in their contract or migration notice Nobody starting fresh
1mind (named Drift successor) Quote only; third-party reviews report roughly $100,000 to $400,000 a year AI sales agents that qualify, demo and join calls across web and product Enterprise revenue teams with a large inbound pipeline
Qualified (Piper AI SDR) Quote only; reported around $68,000 a year for 25 users, plus the Salesforce stack it runs on Salesforce-native AI SDR, account-based routing, meeting booking Enterprise B2B on Salesforce running ABM
Intercom with Fin $29 to $132 per seat a month, plus $0.99 per Fin outcome Help desk, AI agent, product tours, mobile SDKs Support-led SaaS with a large seat count
InChat $49, $149 or $499 a month, published, monthly billing; yearly $24, $74, $249 a month AI agent trained on your site, lead capture in chat, human handoff, shared inbox, proactive triggers, webhooks and API on Plus SMB and mid-market B2B teams that want Drift-style website chat without an enterprise contract

Sources checked in September 2026: the Clari + Salesloft and 1mind announcement of March 6, 2026 (Business Wire), 1mind and Qualified pricing as reported by independent reviewers, intercom.com/pricing, and InChat's own pricing page. Drift and enterprise AI SDR pricing is negotiated per contract, so treat those figures as ranges.

Why teams switch

What you keep, and what gets simpler, when you replace Drift

01

Answers from your own content

InChat reads your product pages, docs, case studies and pricing, then answers technical and commercial questions with the source page attached. No playbook trees to maintain for every question.

02

Lead capture inside the chat

The agent asks for name, work email and company at the moment it makes sense, and the details land with the transcript so sales sees what the buyer already asked.

03

Hot leads go to a person

Human handoff with agent routing is on every paid plan. When a visitor asks about a demo, a contract or a custom quote, a rep takes over in the same widget.

04

Proactive triggers on money pages

Open the chat after time on page, at a scroll depth or on exit intent, so pricing and comparison page visitors get a question before they leave.

05

Webhooks and REST API

On Plus and up, send every new lead and conversation to your CRM, Slack or data warehouse with webhooks, the same way you piped Drift conversations out.

06

A bill you can plan

Published monthly plans from $49, no per-seat add-ons on top, no per-resolution fees and no annual contract to sign before you see it work.

How it works

Replace Drift on your site in one afternoon

  1. 1

    Paste your website URL

InChat reads your public pages, docs and FAQ. Upload the one-pagers, security docs and pricing sheets your Drift playbooks used to link to.

  2. 2

Rebuild your top plays as instructions

Look at your busiest Drift playbooks (pricing page, demo request, support) and turn each into a short instruction: when to ask for an email, when to offer a person, what to never promise.

  3. 3

    Swap the snippet

Remove the Drift JavaScript snippet from your site or tag manager and paste the InChat script tag before the closing body tag. It is one line on WordPress, Webflow and HubSpot CMS.

  4. 4

    Connect the handoff

Invite the reps and support agents who take conversations, set routing, and point a webhook at your CRM so every lead and transcript is logged.

What happened to Drift?

Drift was bought by Salesloft in 2024, and on March 6, 2026, Clari + Salesloft announced a gradual sunset of the Drift conversational marketing product, naming 1mind as the exclusive successor for existing Drift customers. No single public end-of-life date was announced; existing customers work from the dates in their contract or migration notice.

For a team that used Drift as its website chatbot, this means the tool will not get new features and will not be renewed forever. It also followed the August 2025 security incident, when attackers used stolen OAuth tokens from the Drift integration to pull data from hundreds of Salesforce environments, after which Salesloft took Drift offline and Salesforce disabled the Drift connection. Many teams used that moment to review what they actually need from website chat.

What is the best alternative to Drift?

The best alternative to Drift depends on what Drift was doing for you. If it ran account-based routing for an enterprise sales team inside Salesforce, look at 1mind or Qualified and expect a quoted annual contract. If it answered website visitors, captured leads and handed hot conversations to sales or support, an AI chatbot with human handoff covers that job for a fraction of the cost: InChat starts at $49 a month.

A quick way to decide:

  • Most of your Drift conversations were questions about the product, pricing, integrations or support. An AI agent trained on your website answers those better than a playbook tree did.
  • You mainly needed the email and a fast handoff to a rep. That is lead capture plus routing, included on every InChat plan.
  • You depended on account identification and routing named target accounts to their owner in real time. That is enterprise ABM territory, and InChat does not do it.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Drift?

Yes. Drift Premium was widely reported at about $2,500 a month on an annual contract, and its enterprise successors are quote-only. InChat publishes its prices: $49 a month for Starter, $149 for Plus with 2,000 AI conversations, 10 team members, webhooks and the REST API, and $499 for Pro with unlimited conversations and seats. Even Pro costs about a fifth of the reported Drift Premium price.

If you are pricing other chat tools against Drift as well, our cheaper alternative to Intercom and LiveChat alternative pages run the same cost math against those vendors, and the full plan list is on AI chatbot pricing.

How do I migrate from Drift?

To migrate from Drift, export your conversation history and contact data from Drift first, then list your five busiest playbooks and the questions visitors asked in them. Train the new chatbot on your website and docs, turn each playbook into a short instruction, test it against the real questions, and only then remove the Drift snippet and add the new one.

Two things are easy to forget. Revoke the Drift OAuth connections in Salesforce, HubSpot and Slack once you switch, so no old token keeps access to your data. And redirect any "book a demo" links that pointed to a Drift meeting page to your current scheduling link.

Where Drift's enterprise successors are the better choice

We would rather you pick the right tool once. If your website chat has to recognize a target account from its IP address, route it to the named account executive in Salesforce and book a meeting on that rep's calendar in real time, you need an enterprise AI SDR such as 1mind or Qualified. InChat does not identify companies from IP data and has no native Salesforce sync; it sends leads out through webhooks and the API.

InChat is the better fit when your website gets buyers and customers with real questions, your team is somewhere between 1 and 50 people, and you want the chatbot answering from your own content by this afternoon, at a price you can see before you talk to anyone.

Who it is for

Who replaces Drift with InChat

B2B SaaS with a sales-assisted motion

Trial users and evaluators get answers from your docs and pricing page, and anyone asking about seats, security or an annual contract is handed to a rep with the full conversation.

Agencies and professional services

Prospects ask about scope, timelines and fees at night, the agent answers from your service pages and collects the brief, and your team picks it up in the morning.

Mid-market support teams

Support questions that used to fall into a sales playbook are answered by AI, and the rest reach the right agent through routing, with SLA tracking on Pro.

FAQ

Drift alternatives, common questions

Yes, gradually. Clari + Salesloft announced a sunset of the Drift conversational marketing product on March 6, 2026 and named 1mind as the successor for existing customers. There is no single public shutdown date; each customer's timeline is set in its contract or migration notice.

For existing enterprise customers, Clari + Salesloft named 1mind as the exclusive successor. Teams that used Drift mainly as a website chatbot for questions, lead capture and handoff usually move to an AI chatbot with live chat, such as InChat, Intercom or Zoho SalesIQ, which cost far less.

Drift did not publish prices. Its Premium plan was widely reported at about $2,500 a month, usually billed as $30,000 a year, with Advanced and Enterprise quoted higher. After the sunset announcement, new Drift contracts are not a practical option.

InChat sends every new lead and conversation to your CRM through webhooks and the REST API on the Plus plan and up, so you can log them in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive through your own connector or an automation tool. There is no native, one-click Salesforce sync.

InChat captures the buyer's details and can share your scheduling link in the chat, and a rep can take over the conversation live to set the meeting. It does not route to a named rep's calendar based on account ownership the way Drift's enterprise tier did.

Yes. Paste your website URL above and InChat trains an agent on your content so you can ask it your own buyer questions. Create an account to test more conversations, then pick a plan when you are ready to replace the Drift widget.

Replace Drift before your renewal date, not after it.

Paste your URL, test the agent on your own content and go live with one line of JavaScript. Plans from $49 a month with 500 AI conversations, 3 team members and human handoff included.
