Podium Pricing and Real Costs, What Is Public From $399 a Month

November 04, 2026

Answers from your own pages, human handoff, one line of JavaScript. Plans from $49/mo with AI conversations included.

Podium pricing is not published: its pricing page tells you to talk to sales. The last public figures, reported by third parties from 2025, were about $399 a month for Core with 250 messaging credits and $599 for Pro with 500 credits, with a custom-quoted Signature tier above. Real bills run higher once phones, location fees and AI are added. Figures below come from Podium's pricing page (checked November 2026) and a March 2026 cost write-up that cites Podium's last known public pricing, in US dollars.

Because nothing is posted, every number here is a reported floor, not a quote. Below: what the page does say, the reported plans, the add-ons that move the total, and what three typical setups cost.

AI EmployeeAdd-on, no public pricePodium: "Add on AI Employee to any plan"

Podium's own page lists no plan names, prices or contract terms. It says plans are designed to fit your business and sends you to a demo or the sales team. One credit is used per SMS and three per MMS, so a small team sending photos can use up 250 credits quickly.

What is included in a Podium plan

Podium is a customer messaging suite. The page lists reviews, phones, lead consolidation, a shared inbox, payments, text marketing and automations, with step-by-step onboarding, phone and chat support and customer success managers on every plan. Website Chat captures leads from your site and converts them over text. The AI Employee, branded Jerry, answers customers, schedules and sells, and it is sold as an add-on rather than part of the base price.

What Podium costs for three setups

SetupReported monthly totalBuilt from
1 location, 3 users, Coreabout $489 plus AI$399 plan plus 3 phones at $30
1 location, 6 users, Proabout $749 plus AI$599 plan plus 6 phones at $25
3 locations, 3 users each, Core eachabout $1,467 plus AI3 plans at $399 plus 9 phones at $30, with $1,500 in one-time network fees

These exclude the AI add-on, extra bulk message credits and carrier fees, none of which has a public price. Treat them as the least you should expect and ask for the full total in writing before you sign. A reviewer cited by the same write-up said users are locked into 12 months, so confirm the term too.

Is Podium worth it for a small business?

It depends on how your customers reach you. If text is your main channel, with review requests after every job, payment links and a shared text inbox, the suite replaces several tools and the price is easier to justify. Podium is also strong where onboarding help matters, since a customer success manager is part of every plan.

If most of your first contacts arrive through the website, and the need is a chat that knows your services and prices and hands off to a person, you pay a suite price for a small part of it. A chatbot with a published price does that job for less. InChat Starter includes 500 AI conversations and 3 team members from $24 a month billed yearly (or $49 monthly), and Plus at $149 includes 2,000 AI conversations and 10 team members. See the table in the Podium alternative comparison, where we also say what Podium does that InChat does not: bulk texting, SMS review requests, payments and phone lines.

How Podium compares with other tools on price

Suites with texting and reviews sit in the hundreds of dollars a month, while website chat tools are far lower. Tidio and LiveChat price chat by plan or agent, and Richpanel adds a $200 AI minimum to $99 seats. Podium's difference is that none of its price is on the page, which makes comparison shopping a sales exercise.

How to get a real Podium number

Ask for four things in writing: the monthly price per location, the number of messaging credits and what an overage costs, the one-time and monthly fees for network optimization and carrier registration, and the AI Employee add-on price with its usage limits. Add the number of users who need a phone line. Then compare the total with what you would pay if the website chat and the texting were separate tools.

Two checks save money. First, count how many texts you actually send in a month, including photos, before you pick between Core and Pro. Second, ask what happens to your phone number if you leave, since the reported VoIP number matters when you switch vendors. Do both before an annual commitment.

What a lighter setup looks like

Some businesses split the work. The website chat answers service, price and availability questions at any hour and passes ready buyers to a person, while texting and reviews stay in a dedicated tool. In that setup the chat should not cost as much as the suite beside it. A plan with AI conversations and a few team seats included makes the math simple: you know the monthly bill before the month starts.

InChat is built for that front-line job. It trains on your pages and PDFs, shows the source of each answer and sends the chat to a teammate with the transcript attached. For the visitors it hands over, a booking page clients can use to schedule themselves keeps the conversation moving from question to appointment.

Podium pricing questions

Does Podium publish its prices?

No. The pricing page says to talk to the sales team. Plan figures in circulation come from third parties and earlier public pricing, so confirm them with a written quote.

Does Podium have a free plan?

No free plan is listed. The page offers a demo and a sales conversation. InChat offers a one-time 50-conversation demo with no card.

How much is Podium per month?

Reported at about $399 a month for Core and $599 for Pro in 2025, before phones, location fees, carrier registration and the AI add-on. Your quote can differ.

Is there a contract with Podium?

The pricing page states no terms. A customer review cited by a 2026 cost write-up says users are locked into 12 months, so ask for the term and renewal rules in writing.
